Pousada Vila Obidos

The staff was so cute, and I loved grabbing free coffee and cookies whenever I wanted. Our room had this great view of the castle wall, and those lovely toiletries. Breakfast was delicious, and I can still taste the chocolate from the festival.

the hotel rooms were modern and well-equipped with good beds and a beautiful view over the town medieval walls, as for instance. location: the property was really close to the city walls, the center, and the centre of a charming town. found a place called the history man, set a short way from the hotel, ate there a few times.

Beautiful views, truly enjoyed perfect and convenient setting.

The twin room had all we needed, including particularly well equipped bathroom.

Charming taste of medieval delight

The location feels magical, right inside the castle walls! Enjoyed a good breakfast with local produce, and the 24/7 self-service coffee area was a lovely bonus.

Getting to the parking lot was a challenge. It's 600 meters away and with narrow streets, it was a hassle to navigate with luggage. A bit of a trek!

Little and fantastic accommodation with stunning setting just next door to a supermarket, and Lisbon. Comfortable stay, as always...

The hotel location was great and particularly good to a supermarket. Btw, it was relatively close to Aria Resort & Casino. Last time I stopped, had clean room with opening windows looing out over the walls...

Inaccessibility for cars made lugging my bags through cobbled streets a nightmare!!! Wi-Fi connectivity issues were downright frustrating, with no resolution in sight !!! Such simple improvements could elevate the experience significantly!!!

The Double or Twin Room was super cozy! The beds were really comfortable, and the decor was cute with lovely artwork. I loved the little touches like complimentary Ginja and chocolates. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and the fluffy towels were a nice bonus. Just a heads up, the room was a bit on the small side, but definitely bright and cheerful! Plus, the view of the surrounding countryside was a great highlight.

We enjoyed the Literary Festival and explored the bustling market with its street entertainers and medieval suppers. The staff was super helpful, especially at the reception.

Be prepared that taxis cannot go inside the city walls, which can be a hassle if you're carrying luggage, especially on the rocky streets.

The rooms are beautifully decorated and provide cozy comfort, complete with fluffy towels and refreshing amenities. Breakfast options were good, enhancing the stay. Reaching the hotel with luggage can be challenging due to cobbled streets and restricted vehicle access.

The hotel had indeed a perfect and excellent location to a supermarket. We were very close to the Castle of Obidos.
